Overview
The Sound Barrier iLX215D is an ultra-high-output active two-way loudspeaker built for large venues, nightclubs, outdoor events, and professional sound reinforcement applications that require maximum output, powerful low-frequency impact, and flexible system control. Its dual 15-inch configuration delivers the authority and projection needed for high-energy music playback and large-audience coverage.
An efficient Class-D bi-amplified power section delivers 3600W peak to dual 15-inch low-frequency drivers and a high-frequency compression driver. The system provides a frequency response of 45Hz–20kHz, a maximum SPL of 132dB, and broad 110° horizontal by 100° vertical coverage for powerful, consistent sound throughout the listening area.
An advanced DSP controller with an onboard LCD makes system setup fast and intuitive. Choose from Music, Flat, Speech, and Club presets, then refine the response with Treble, Mid, and Bass controls. Selectable Sub LF Cutoff settings at 80, 100, 120, or 150Hz simplify integration with a subwoofer, while delay alignment helps coordinate loudspeakers across larger or more complex systems.
Sound Barrier Technology, or sBT, supports convenient wireless audio streaming, while True Wireless Stereo, or TWS, pairs two compatible loudspeakers as dedicated left and right channels. Two combo XLR/1/4-inch mic/line inputs, a 3.5mm auxiliary input, and an XLR output with CH A/MIX selection support a wide variety of sources and system configurations.
The durable MDF enclosure features a textured finish, a corrosion-resistant steel grille, recessed side handles, a 35mm pole socket, and M8 rigging points. Locking PowerCON-type AC input and link output connections, together with 100–240V operation, provide secure power distribution for touring, live production, and fixed installations.

APPLICATION
SBT Wireless Technology with True Wireless Pairing
Sound Barrier Technology (sBT) allows compatible playback devices to transmit audio wirelessly for convenient, cable-free operation. The True Wireless Stereo (TWS) function links two speakers together for true stereo sound with separate left and right channels.
Class-D Bi-Amp Power
The efficient Class-D bi-amplified power section delivers 3600W peak while helping reduce heat and system weight. Separate amplification for the low- and high-frequency sections supports powerful low-frequency output, strong midrange presence, and clear high-frequency detail in demanding high-output applications.
Advanced DSP Control & Flexible Connectivity
The onboard LCD and main volume/DSP control provide direct access to Music, Flat, Speech, and Club presets, adjustable Treble, Mid, and Bass EQ, selectable 80, 100, 120, or 150 Hz Sub LF Cutoff settings, delay alignment, sBT and TWS functions, and display settings.
Two combo XLR/1/4-inch inputs accept microphone- or line-level sources, with independent Channel A and Channel B level controls for precise balancing. A 3.5 mm auxiliary input accommodates additional playback devices, while the balanced XLR output can send either Channel A or the complete mix to another loudspeaker or audio device.
