Overview

The Sound Barrier PCS3400 is a professional two-channel analog power amplifier designed for permanent installations, cinema systems, and touring sound. Its Class H circuitry delivers 1,350W per channel at 4Ω and supports stable operation down to 2Ω per channel.

Stereo, Parallel, and Bridge modes support different system configurations. A rear-panel Compressor switch engages or bypasses the built-in compressor. When engaged, it helps manage signal peaks and operates only when Input Sensitivity is set to 1.0V.

Balanced inputs, selectable input sensitivity, and front-panel channel level controls support straightforward system integration. Internal heatsinks and a variable-speed fan provide cooling, while built-in protection circuits help safeguard the amplifier during demanding use.
