Overview
The Sound Barrier X9.2 is a compact two-channel Class-D power amplifier designed for permanent installations, houses of worship, conference facilities, entertainment venues, distributed audio systems, and smaller mobile or rental applications. It delivers 2 × 900W at 4Ω and 2 × 500W at 8Ω, providing dependable power for full-range loudspeakers, stage monitors, and compact subwoofer systems.
Stereo, mono, and bridge operating modes allow the X9.2 to accommodate a variety of system configurations, including up to 1800W bridged at 8Ω. Selectable input sensitivity, a switchable 75Hz low-cut filter, and ground-lift control provide additional flexibility when integrating the amplifier with mixers, processors, and installed audio systems.
A universal 100–240 VAC power supply with active Power Factor Correction supports operation across a wide range of electrical environments. Its lightweight 1U metal chassis, internal heat sinks, dual variable-speed cooling fans, comprehensive protection circuitry, and clear front-panel status indicators make the X9.2 a compact and cost-effective amplifier for professional applications.

Universal Power with Active PFC
The DA Series features a universal switch-mode power supply designed to operate from 100–240 VAC ±10%, 50/60Hz, allowing reliable use across a wide range of global power systems. Active Power Factor Correction (PFC) optimizes current draw, improves power efficiency, and helps maintain consistent amplifier performance under demanding operating conditions.
3 Year Warranty
Includes a 1-year standard limited warranty, extended to 3 years total at no additional cost when the product is registered within 90 days of purchase. Proof of purchase is required. Statutory consumer rights are not affected.
