Overview
The Sound Barrier DA7.2 is a high-output two-channel Class-D amplifier designed for professional loudspeaker systems that need strong performance in a compact rack format. It delivers 2 × 3500W at 4Ω and 2 × 2200W at 8Ω, making it a versatile choice for subwoofers, full-range loudspeakers, stage monitors, and sound-reinforcement systems in touring productions, nightclubs, live venues, houses of worship, and fixed installations.
Its compact 1U architecture supports stereo, mono, and bridge operation, with selectable 41dB, 38dB, 35dB, and 32dB gain settings. The amplifier supports minimum loads of 2Ω per channel in stereo or mono operation and 4Ω in bridge mode, with burst output up to 2 × 5000W at 2Ω or 1 × 9000W bridged at 4Ω.
A universal switch-mode power supply with active Power Factor Correction provides efficient, stable performance across a worldwide AC input range. Front-to-rear temperature-controlled cooling and protection against undervoltage, DC output, over-temperature, overload, and short circuit help deliver dependable performance in demanding professional applications.

Universal Power with Active PFC
The DA Series features a universal switch-mode power supply designed to operate from 100–240 VAC ±10%, 50/60Hz, allowing reliable use across a wide range of global power systems. Active Power Factor Correction (PFC) optimizes current draw, improves power efficiency, and helps maintain consistent amplifier performance under demanding operating conditions.
3 Year Warranty
Includes a 1-year standard limited warranty, extended to 3 years total at no additional cost when the product is registered within 90 days of purchase. Proof of purchase is required. Statutory consumer rights are not affected.
